Chubb bolsters cyber underwriting in UK and Ireland

Raheila Nazir, former head of international cyber & technology at Aspen Insurance, has moved to Chubb.

Effective immediately, Nazir will serve as Chubb’s cyber underwriting manager for the UK and Ireland – reporting to Kyle Bryant, cyber risks manager for Europe. She will be in charge of the leadership and direction of Chubb’s UK&I cyber underwriting team, as well as managing product development and overall profit and losses.

The major hire also spent time at AIG, where she held the role of cyber and TMT (technology, media, and telecommunications) liability manager for the UK and Ireland, and professional indemnity head for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

“Raheila’s appointment is a significant moment for Chubb’s UK&I cyber team, and I am delighted to welcome her to the business,” commented Bryant. “She brings with her a wealth of underwriting experience and has a deep knowledge and understanding gained from many years of working in cyber insurance.
