ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Monday advised salaried persons to file their annual income tax returns on or before August 31, 2018 for tax year 2018.
The FBR said that the last date for filing annual income tax returns is August 31, 2018. The revenue body urged the salaried taxpayers to discharge their national duty and file their returns and wealth statement without waiting the last date.
The FBR issued income tax return form on August 17 as it has to be issued on July 01. Tax experts believed that the FBR should give two month statutory time limit to salaried taxpayers to discharge their liability.
