Additional Collector Asma Hameed hears six cases on Tuesday

FAISALABAD: The Customs Adjudication Additional Collector Asma Hameed heard six cases of smuggling filed by Customs Intelligence and Investigation on 4-9-2018.

Sources told Customs Today that the additional collector heard a case filed against Fazal Hussain who is involved in bringing a Hino truck bearing registration number KWS-15-2400 worth Rs 2.4 million without payment of duty and taxes and a case against Ghulam Siddique facing charges of smuggling of a Hino truck number OKS-17-350 worth Rs 2.5 million.

Asma Hameed also heard a case of filed by Ahmed Nawaz who is allegedly involved in evading tax amounting to Rs 2.3 million on the import of a foreign origin items. A case of Hino truck six wheeler bearing registration number OKS-1662 s was also scheduled for the day and a case of Toyota Mark II car registration no AKN-474 Sindh worth Rs 1.8 million against abdul Rashid accused was also heard.

Additional Deputy Collector hears smuggling case against accused namely Hamza Khan involved in smuggling of 924 mobile phones. All these cases were adjourned for next hearing.
