The Multan Customs has issued its “warrants of attachment” against the importer in this regard by appointing attachment officer.

Assistant Collector Muhammad Ikram appointed Superintendent Muhammad Yousaf Balouch as an attachment officer for collection of duty and taxes from said defaulters.

Attachment officer Muhammad Yousaf Balouch has been given special directives to attach the moveable and immovable properties belonging to the defaulter for recovery of government taxes in terms of Rule 133 and 151 of the Customs Rule 2001 with Section 202 of the Customs Act 1969.

After their failure, Assistant Collector Multan Dry Port Muhammad Ikram has issued warrants for the attachment of the property of defaulter M/s Ata Chemical (Pvt) Limited against the non-payment of outstanding duty taxes.
