Faisalabad Appraisement collects Rs1830.998m from July to August 31

FAISALABAD: The Customs Collectorate collected Rs1830.998 million from July to August 31 against the set target of Rs 675.00 million.

Sources told Customs Today that Customs Appraisement collected revenue under the heads of customs duty (CD), sales tax (ST), income tax (IT) and federal excise duty (FED) during the above said period.

According to revenue statistics, the Customs Appraisement collected Rs623.059 million under the head of customs duty (CD) against the set target of Rs724.00 million in first two month 2018.

The Collectorate collected Rs1186.492 million under the head of sales tax during the above said period against the set target of Rs1918.00 million.

Faisalabad Appraisement collected Rs 1.422 million in wake of income tax during the said period against the set target of Rs33 million.

It is pertinent to mention here that that Collector Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah is quite satisfied with the performance of the Collectorate in connection with the revenue collection during the last year of the first two months of the fiscal year 2017 while he stressed the authorities concerned of the Collectorate to further expedite the pace of revenue generation for getting more effective results.
