Faisalabad Customs I&I impounds NDP Suzuki Vitz

FAISALABAD: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) impounded a foreign origin Toyota Vitz car near West Canal Road.

Sources told Customs Today that Deputy Director Customs I&I Rana Irfan Shouqat received a tip-off that some non-customs paid vehicles are being used at Faisalabad roads. He formed a raiding team comprising Superintendent Muhammad Tahir Iqbal, Intelligence Officer Muhammad Saleem and Upper Division Clerk Muhammad Sikander.

The Customs team intercepted a Toyota Vitz car bearing registration no: UU-562 Islamabad. The Customs team asked the owner of the vehicle who was identified as Bakash Akber to produce documents regarding the import of the vehicle but he failed to provide the same. After his failure the customs team seized the car and registered a case against the accused.
