Rs82,500 fine: 57 Karachi shopkeepers challaned for profiteering, adulteration

KARACHI: The Karachi Divisional and District Administration, taking action against profiteers and adulteration, has challaned 57 shopkeepers and fined Rs82,500.

Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, in a statement, said that these shopkeepers included milk sellers, grocers and meat sellers. They were challaned in Liaquatabad, Gulberg, Nazimabad, North Nazimabad, New Karachi, Saddar, SITE, Orangi Town, Baldia, Manghopir, Civil Lines and a number of other areas.
