Faisalabad Appraisement collects Rs932.860m in September

FAISALABAD: Collectorate of Customs Appraisement exceeded revenue collection target by 97 percent during the month of September of fiscal year 2018.

Sources told Customs Today that under the supervision of Assistant Collector Ameer Ahmed the appraisement branch surpassed the revenue target by 97 percent as it collected Rs 932.860 million against the assigned target of Rs 965 million.

Sources said that Customs Appraisement was assigned customs duty collection target of Rs282 million but it surpassed the target by 115 percent as it collected Rs324.150 million during the said period.

Under the head of customs sales tax, appraisement collected Rs 580.390 million against the assigned target of Rs674 million.

Customs Appraisement successfully generated Rs 28.280 million under the head of income tax against the assigned target of Rs 9 million.

It is necessary to mention here that Collector Asif Mehmood Jah specially lauded the performance of Faisalabad Collectorate for revenue collection target.
