Faisalabad Appraisement collects Rs2763.859m in three months

FAISALABAD: The Customs Collectorate has collected Rs2763.859 million during three month (July September) of fiscal year 2018 against the set target of Rs 3640 million.

Sources told Customs Today that Customs Appraisement collected revenue under the heads of customs duty (CD), sales tax (ST), income tax (IT) and federal excise duty (FED) during the above said period.

According to revenue statistics Faisalabad Appraisement collected Rs 947.273 million in the share of customs duty against the set target of Rs1006 million in first three month of fiscal year 2018.

The Collectorate collected Rs1766.882 million under the head of sales tax during the above said period against the set target of Rs2592 million.

Faisalabad Appraisement collected Rs49.702 million in wake of income tax during the above said period against the assigned target of Rs42 million.

It is pertinent to mention here that that Assistant Collector Ameer Ahmed directed to further expedite the pace of revenue generation for getting more effective results.
