Meeting Eurasian Economic Commission’s chairman is the first Sisi’s activity in Russia

Moscow : President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi will meet Monday with Eurasian Economic Commission’s Chairman Tigran Sowreni Sargsyan. This comes during Sisi’s three-day official visit to Russia.

The Eurasian Customs Union is a customs union which consists of all the Member states of the Eurasian Economic Union including Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.

Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi arrived on Monday to Russia for talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

Sisi will also hold talks with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and other senior officials on boosting economic cooperation.

Sisi is scheduled to deliver a speech before the Russian Federation Council, the upper house of the Federal Assembly. This is the first time for a foreign leader to deliver a speech at the council.
