Multan RTO attaches bank account of M/s Fatima Enterprises for recovery of outstanding taxes

MULTAN: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax Office (RTO) recovered Rs2 million outstanding tax arrears after attachment of bank account of M/s Fatima Enterprises.

According to details, Regional Tax Office initiated tax recovery drive in the jurisdiction from defaulters on the direction of chairman Federal Board of Revenue. Regional Tax Office Multan has issued several notices to M/s Fatima Enterprise for recovery of their due taxes but they were failed to respond to any notice issued by Regional Tax Office Multan. Regional tax authorities of Multan attached bank account of M/s Fatima Enterprises in their recovery action.

Deputy Commissioner Abid Gulshan along with staff of Inland Revenue reached the private bank and recovered the Rs2 million default amount from bank account of M/s Fatima Enterprises Multan in their action.

It is pertinent to mention here that M/s Fatima Enterprises is defaulter of almost Rs5.5 billion and Regional Tax Office has started action against them after approval from higher authorities.

Regional Tax Office Multan has accelerated the recovery drive from defaulters in the jurisdiction to meet the assigned revenue task of current Fiscal Year 2018-19.
