SHAH ALAM: A 33 year old Thailand woman working as a maid here was sentenced to death for carrying illegal narcotics through the Kuala Lumpur airport last year.
Duangchit Khonthokhonbari, was found guilty of trafficking 2.8kg of methamphetamines at Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Sepang in March 2013, according to a report by the Bernama news agency printed by Malaysia’s Star Online.
Only one witness from either side testified before Judicial Commissioner Collin Lawrence Sequerah issued his verdict.
