RCCI’s delegation to visit Hong Kong

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) has taken initiative to promote Pakistan’s trade potential through exhibitions and visits of delegations of businessmen around the world. Under this initiative, RCCI former president Zahid Latif Khan led a delegation to Hong Kong where it held Business Opportunity Conference (BOC) and meetings with Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and signed memorandum of understanding (MOU) to promote bilateral trade and enhance close cooperation through exchange of delegations.

Secretary General RCCI Irfan Manan Khan and vice chairman regional trade Khurshid Barlas were also present during the B2B meetings.

Consul General of Pakistan in Hong Kong Abdul Qadir Memon while addressing the inaugural session of BOC said that Pakistan has not only huge untapped potential of exports but at the same  time it’s growing market with population of around 200 million, offered  excellent opportunities for bilateral trade. He also informed participants about the opportunities and challenges and assured his continued support to Pakistan business. He lauded RCCI efforts in promoting trade tie through exhibitions and business opportunity conferences.

President RCCI appreciated the role of Consul General of Pakistan in Hong Kong for facilitating the visits and making arrangements for the conference. A memorandum of understanding was also signed between RCCI and Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce to promote bilateral trade and facilitate exhibitions and business conference at respective countries.
