Customs I&I DG Shaukat Ali transferred, posted as Member

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue has transferred Directorate General of Intelligence & Investigation Director General Shaukat Ali with immediate effect and until further orders.

Shaukat Ali (BS-21) has been posted as Member at Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad.

Meanwhile, Iram Maqbool Aamir, a BS-20 officer of Pakistan Customs Service and currently posted as Director, Directorate General of Intelligence & Investigation, will also look after the charge of DG I&I in addition to her own duties.

Before assuming the charge of DG I&I, Shaukat Ali was working as Member (Legal). He had relinquished the charge of the post of Director General, IOCO, Karachi with effect from January 8, 2016 and took the charge as Member (Legal), FBR (HQ), Islamabad on January 12, 2016.

The officer had assumed the charge of the post of Director General, Directorate General of IOCO, Karachi on November 10, 2015.

The officer was promoted to BS-21 from BS-20 on June 02, 2015. He had also been giving his services as Director, Directorate General of Intelligence & Investigation-FBR, Islamabad which he relinquished on September 23, 2014. He had assumed charge of the post of Director, Directorate General of Intelligence & Investigation-FBR, Islamabad after relinquishing chargeof the post of Director, Directorate General of Intelligence & Investigation-FBR, Faisalabad with effect from August 2, 2013.

According to the FBR notification issued on Monday, both the officers, who are drawing performance allowance, will continue to draw the same on the new place of posting. The officers have been asked to relinquish/assume charge, using online HRMS facility made available to FBR or by using their IJP logins.
