Faisalabad I&I releases consignments after receiving duties &  taxes

FAISALABAD: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation released consignments worth Rs 564265 after receiving an evaded amount of duties and taxes. The said consignments were intercepted during the month of October 2018.

Sources told Customs Today, that the consignments were released by the Customs Intelligence consisting of foreign origin white pine wood valued Rs132152 foreign origin onion worth Rs432113.

The above mentioned consignments were seized by the Customs Intelligence due to evasion of customs duty worth Rs 5991, sales tax Rs 81143, income tax Rs 29112, and penalty of Rs 447919 during October 2018.

The tax evasion was detected by a team comprising Intelligence Officer Mansoor Nasir, Sepoys Ajmal Hussain and Muhammad Musaddiq Ahmad.
