Customs court imposes Rs2m penalty on Thai currency smuggler

LAHORE: A special customs court Monday imposed a penalty of Rs2,000,000 on a Thai national involved in a foreign currency smuggling case.

The court also detained the accused till the rising of the court as a sentence. Special Judge Customs Khaqan Babar conducted the proceedings of the trial.
