Javed Ghani, Fazal Yazdani promoted to BS-22

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has promoted two Pakistan Customs Service officers to BS-22 in the same service with immediate effect and until further orders.

Muhammad Javed Ghani and Fazal Yazdani Khan have been promoted in pursuance of approval of the Competent Authority conveyed vide Establishment Division’s U.O.No.7/1/2018-CP-IV dated 19.11.2018.

According to the FBR notification, Fazal Yazdani Khan will actualise his promotion upon his repatriation to FBR. If the officers are drawing performance allowance, they will continue to draw this allowance on their promotion, said the notification.

However, Muhammad Javed Ghani, on his promotion to BS-22, has relinquished the charge of the post of Member (Customs-Policy) (BS-21), Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad with effect from November 19, 2018 and assumed the same charge with upgraded scale of BS-22 at Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad on the same date.

Fazal Yazdani Khan had assumed the charge of the post of Directing Staff, PASC in BS-21 at National School of Public Policy (NSPP), Lahore on June 2, 2015. Earlier, he was on deputation to National School of Public Policy (NSPP), Lahore and relinquished the charge of the post of Directing Staff, SMW in BS-20 on the same date.
