The assistant collector said that the ASO squad intercepted the vehicle bearing registration number: WD-084 near Sial Mor, Interchange and asked the owner namely Ghulam Abbas to produce documents about loaded goods but he failed to provide any proof. Due to his failure to provide relevant legal documents, the ASO staff impounded the offending vehicle loaded with 20 ‘thaans’ of Boski cloth made in China involving duty and taxes worth Rs1.4million.

Shah Samad Hamadani said that a seizure report has been lodged against the suspects while goods and vehicle have been shifted to the State Warehouse.
