ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Finance Asad Umar announced five year tax holiday for investment in manufacturing of renewable energy technologies.
Presenting third finance bill for Fiscal Year 2019 Finance Minister Asad Umar said PTI government aimed at increasing share of renewable energy in the country’s energy mix to 30 percent adding government also want to encourage manufacturing of renewable energy technology such as solar panels and wind turbines.
Therefore, it is proposed that all investment in manufacturing of renewable energy technologies will enjoy complete tax holiday for five years.
