BRINDEX-30 closed on lower side at 22,647 points with negative change

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Wednesday at 22,647 points with a negative change of -40.15 and volume of 67,320,700 shares. High and Low were 22,779.42 and 22,621.81 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 9 were up, 20 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 0 shares. Total companies traded were of which were positive, were negative and were unchanged.

Food and personal care products was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 17,394,060 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 16,505,400 shares.

The three top traded companies were M/s Fauji Foods Limited with a volume of 10,308,000 and price per share of 33.51 (-0.19), Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited (A) with a volume of 7,232,500 and price per share of 7.46 (0.12), Siddiqsons Tin with a volume of 6,810,500 and price per share of 23.33 (1.09).

The top three advancers were Nestle Pakistan Limited with a volume of 20 and price per share of 8,600 (400.00), Bata Pakistan Limited with a volume of 60 and price per share of 1,600 (20.00), M/s Archroma Pakistan Limited with a volume of 11,950 and price per share of 543.36 (19.36).

The top three decliners were Unilever Pakistan Food Limited with a volume of 80 and price per share of 6,975 (-25.00), Pakistan Tobacco Company Limited with a volume of 640 and price per share of 2,757.59 (-23.68), Khyber Tobacco Co Ltd with a volume of 8,200 and price per share of 347.87 (-18.30).
