Multan RTO attaches bank account of XEN Head Punjnad Office for recovery of outstanding amount

MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax Office (RTO) attached the bank account of XEN Head Punjnad Office for the recovery of outstanding amount.

According to details, Regional Tax Office Multan is taking strict measures against tax defaulters to achieve the assigned revenue task of January in the ongoing fiscal year 2018-19. The Federal Board of Revenue has started freezing bank accounts of defaulting persons as well as government departments for the recovery of due taxes.

Sources told Customs Today that RTO initiated strict action against defaulters and seized the bank account of XEN Head Punjnad for the recovery of Rs800,000. Regional Tax Office has issued several notices to XEN Head Punjnad located in the Muzaffargarh region.

XEN Head Punjnad ignored the tax notices from Regional Tax Office Multan and then RTO team found through their legal channel and assessed the bank accounts of Head Punjnad and recovered Rs800,000 from their bank accounts.

Regional Tax Office Multan is making its full efforts to meet the set revenue task of Federal Board of Revenue. Tax Authorities will take further actions against the tax defaulters to meet the assigned revenue task.
