ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued a notification to abolish customs duty and additional customs duty on import of raw cotton.
The notification is already implemented from February 1, 2019 which will be in force till June 30, 2019. FBR already amended Section 18 and Section 19, Customs Act, 1969 for this purpose and exempted import of raw cotton from customs duty and additional customs duty.
