ISLAMABAD: Finance Division has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 Certification which replaces the earlier ISO 9001-2008 with the latest standards of ISO 2001-2015.

Syed Inkesar Hussain, Lead Assessor of Lloyd’s Regular Quality Assurance (LRQA) Ltd presented the Certificate to the Special Secretary Finance, Omar Hamid Khan at a ceremony held here on Monday.

Addressing on the occasion, Omar Hamid Khan said that finance division successfully met the mandatory requirements for smooth transition to the new quality ,anagement standards. Accordingly the certification body recommended finance division for the new Certification which is indeed a great honour and a recognition of the headway that finance division has made in quality management standards. He said it is a matter of pride that finance division has been the flagship Division in ISO certification at Federal Secretariat level since 2006.

It has been continuously striving to enhance the level of customer satisfaction by improving its performance and systems at various levels. It has developed an organized system of measuring stakeholders’ satisfaction under the umbrella of Quality Assurance Program (QAP).

Special Secretary Finance assured the commitment  of top management to own and carry forward this program which will remain a vital benchmark in future endeavors. He expressed his appreciation for the QAP team, senior management and staff of Finance Division for their dedication and efforts in making the program a success.
