Additional Collector Asma Hameed summons owner of NDP vehicle on April 1

FAISALABAD: The Customs Adjudication Additional Collector Asma Hameed issued a show cause notice to owner of non-duty paid Toyota Rush jeep.

As per the details Anti Smuggling Organization impounded a non duty paid used Toyota Rush jeep model 2006 bearing registration number BF-5887.

The ASO team asked the owner of the vehicle who was Muhammad Wajid son of Ghulam Muhammad to produce legal documents regarding the import of the vehicle but the owner failed to provide the same. Upon his failure the ASO team seized the vehicle and registered a case against him.

The Customs Adjudication issued notices to accused person on the violation of Section 10-A 89(1) and 156(1) of the Customs Act 1969. However the adjudication has directed the accused to file reply by given time. The cases of vehicle might be decided in the next hearing 1-4-2019.
