KUWAIT: A UK teacher who entered Kuwait on a fake passport is being searched by Kuwait Customs. The teacher named Paul Meekin changed his named to Calvin Kurinz.
The culprit reportedly went to Turkey after fleeing from Kuwait, reports Al-Rai daily. The teacher, Paul Meekin, 40, entered Kuwait on a forged passport in the name of Calvin Kurinz.
The suspect, who is wanted by security authorities in India and Thailand for sexually harassing and molesting children, taught sociology at a private foreign school in Kuwait but did not last more than 3 weeks.
Director-General of the General Department for Criminal Investigation Brigadier Mahmoud Al-Tabbakh confirmed that the fugitive teacher resides in Turkey. However, Tabbakh also said the Turkish authorities are looking for the man.
