Hyderabad I&I impounds NDP Land Crusier near Maji Hospital

HYDERABAD: Directorate of Customs Intelligence & Investigation impounded a non-duty paid vehicle, Toyota Land Cruiser white colour during an action on Maji Hospital Latifabad.

Sources told Customs Today that Director Sadiqullah Khan received information regarding the usage of non-duty paid vehicles. He formed a team under the supervision of Deputy Director Shah Faisal Sahu, which also included Superintendent Tariq Rafique, Intelligence Officer Syed Shafique Ali to detain these vehicles.

The team intercepted said Land Cruiser bearing registration no: BD -6069 near Maji Hospital Latifabad and asked the driver of the vehicle to produce documents regarding the legal import and possession of vehicle, but he failed to do so. So the officials took the vehicle into possession and registered a case against him.

After assuming the charge, Director Sadiqullah Khan directed to use all resources to detain non-duty paid vehicles.
