KARACHI: To mark the World Intellectual Property Day, the Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry will be organizing a seminar on “IPO Transformation in Pakistan” on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 (today).
According to a statement issued, President KCCI Junaid Esmail Makda will preside over the seminar while Additional Director Directorate of Customs IPR Enforcement Sajjad Hyder Jhinjhin, Assistant Controller Patents IPO-Pakistan Saima Kanwal, IP Theft Investigation Consultant Muhammad Qaiser, CEO Brands Foundation Shaikh Rashid Alam and President Intellectual Property Association of Pakistan Tarik Feroze will also speak on the occasion.
On April 26 of every year, countries around the world celebrate World Intellectual Property Day to learn about the role that intellectual property (IP) rights play in encouraging innovation and creativity.
