Deputy Collector Moazzam Raza issues show cause notice to five sepoys

LAHORE: Collectorate of Customs Preventive Deputy Collector Moazzam Raza has issued show cause notice to four sepoys due to their un-authorised absence from duty.

The show cause notices were issued to Sepoy Maqsood Ahmed, Sepoy Syed Asad Abbas Shah, Sepoy Malik Mohammad Shafiq, Sepoy Muhammad Arshad Rajput and Sepoy Shahid Hussain.

The show cause notices stated that it has been observed with serious concern that the above mentioned sepoys are absent from 27.5.2019 without any prior intimation and permission of competent authority. This act on their part is objectionable and tantamount to “mis-conduct”.

They are asked to explain their position in writing to the deputy collector within three days of issuing this notice while strict disciplinary action will be initiated against them.

It is necessary to mention here that Collector Preventive Ahmed Rauf directed all staff of the Collectorate to perform their duties according to rules and regulations.
