KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) is experiencing some calm and tranquility ahead of the federal budget 2019-20, with the benchmark index hovering at 34,727 points at 3pm — up 159 points or 0.46 per cent.
The market opened on a negative note but soon managed to enter into the green. The market hit a day’s low at 34,267 during the first few minutes. The index hit 34,798 as the highest point so far. As many as 81.3 million shares worth Rs3.4 billion have changed hands since morning.
