ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Iranian parliament led by Chairman Pakistan-Iran Friendship Group Dr. Ahmad Amirabadi Farahani visited Commerce Ministry here on Tuesday and called on Advisor for Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood and discussed issues related to boosting bilateral trade between Iran and Pakistan. Commerce Advisor urged the need of removing non-tariff barriers to enhance bilateral trade.

Iran and Pakistan signed a preferential trade agreement in the year 2006 but could not take maximum benefit from it, Dawood said. He said in his recent visit to Iran the two sides discussed the promotion of economic cooperation.
