FBR promotes Asghar Khan, Basit Maqsood, Sadia Muneeb, Waheed Marwat to BS-20

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Wednesday notified promotions of four Pakistan Customs officers of BS-19 into BS-20 on regular basis with immediate effect.

  1. Muhammad Asghar Khan currently posted as Additional Director, Directorate of Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Islamabad is promoted to BS-20.
  2. Basit Maqsood Abbasi currently performing his duties as Additional Collector Collectorate of Customs Adjudication Lahore is promoted to BS-20.
  3. Ms. Sadia Muneeb is performing her duties as Additional Director, Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation, Lahore is also got promotion in BS-20.
  4. Abdul Waheed Marwat who is working as Additional Director Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation and is also part of team working on anti-money laundering in FATF matters and performing as Director Operations at newly formed Directorate of Cross Border Currency Movement also promoted to BS-20.

The FBR said that the officers, who are presently posted against BS-20 posts on OPS, may actualize their promotions against their respective BS-20 positions. Posting of the remaining officers will be notified separately.

The officers, if drawing performance allowance prior to issuance of this notification, shall continue to draw this allowance on their promotion.
