China Mobile launches i-Solutions for Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: China Mobile International (CMI) has launched its global information and communications technology services, i-Solutions, which offers a seamless, borderless digital connectivity solution for the Malaysian market.

CMI is the international operation unit of China’s telecommunication giant, China Mobile Ltd.

The company said it aimed to introduce i-Solutions to the government, retail and education sectors in the country.

It said i-Solutions offered products and solutions such as Internet of Things (IoT) and Enterprise Messaging, Cloud Network Integration Solution, comprehensive security solutions, data backup, disaster recovery solution and connectivity.

“CMI’s products and solutions are targeted at local telco carriers, Internet service providers, the operator market as well as enterprise customers across all industries.

“It is aimed at promoting the development and adoption of digital and technology-driven businesses,” the company said in a statement.

CMI Malaysia managing director Hew Chee Chung said Malaysia is a key market which offered a lot of potential, allowing the company to grow and develop its presence in the region.

“The adoption of the fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0) among Malaysian enterprises and multinational corporations that is being actively promoted by the government is certainly the right vision for many of us who are heavily invested in driving the growth for technology adoption,” he added. — Bernama
