China approves wheat imports from Russia’s Kurgan region : customs

BEIJING: China has approved wheat imports from the Russian region of Kurgan, the Chinese customs office said on Friday.

Beijing is embroiled in a trade war with the United States, a major supplier of the grain to China until the Chinese authorities imposed retaliatory tariffs on US cargoes.
