Slow processing of FBR IRIS system is affecting the process of e-filing income tax returns badly and filers are concerned to file their Income tax returns in given deadline of FBR.

Due to load on the FBR e-portal, server did not respond to command or working very slow. Filers are unable to open few files and client was unable to add the new client in their portal due to non-response from system at the time of filing their tax returns through e-filing.

Taxpayers contacted the Regional Tax Office facilitation center after facing issues in e-filing system but authorities informed that IRIS system is overloaded from headquarter and its errors will be rectified very soon. Tax experts and taxpayers have demanded from Federal Board of Revenue to remove the existing bugs from IRIS Software and upgrade their existing system.
