KARACHI: An accountability court on Wednesday adjourned hearing in assets beyond means case against Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani and other accused.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case due to the absence of the investigation officer of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
During the hearing, the judge inquired about the official and he was informed that the case investigation officer was absent. To which, he expressed displeasure over the absence of the anti-graft official.
NAB prosecutor told the court that the investigation officer was attending the hearing of another case in the high court.
The judge ordered the bureau to submit the progress report of the case today and adjourned the case hearing till September 4.
