PTA extends deadline for second IMEI number registration to Sept 15

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on Thursday extended the deadline for registration of mobile phones’ second International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number to September 15, 2019.

According to the PTA, mobile phones with two IMEI numbers can now be registered until September 15, 2019, warning further that the second slot in the same mobile phones would be blocked after the deadline if cellphone owners fail to register their devices.
