ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) issued S.R.O. 1087(I)/2019 stating that in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3A) of section 3 and section 50 and 71 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, the Federal Board of Revenue, with the approval of federal minister-in-charge, is pleased to specify the ginned cotton in case of supply whereof the liability to pay sales tax as due under the said act shall be of the person receiving the supply and such liability shall be discharged in the following manner, namely:
