KARACHI: Under the supervision of Director Irfan Javed, Directorate-General of Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) showed significant performance from July to November, 2019.
According to the details, the performance of the Directorate General Customs Intelligence and Investigation showed a considerable improvement in both its anti-smuggling and enforcement functions.
A comparative statement reflecting the performance in both areas viz-a-viz performance during corresponding period of last year for the period July 2019 to November 2019 vis-à-vis July 2018 to November 2018 is as under:
The above positions depicts a significant increase in terms of number of cases and value in respect of anti-smuggling seizures as well as in enforcement seizures and contraventions during the period July-November, 2019. Details are as under:-
