FBR conducts special awareness training seminar regarding e-filing of Income tax returns

MULTAN: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax Office (RTO) conducted special awareness training seminar for employees of National Fertilizer Center Institute of Engineering and Technology regarding e-filing of income tax returns for improving the collection of Income taxes.

The Federal Board of Revenue Regional Tax Office is taking revolutionary steps for the widening of tax collection revenue. The purpose of training NFC employees was aimed at improving the Income tax collection and promotion of tax culture in the jurisdiction of Regional Tax Office Multan.

Assistant Director Regional Tax Office Inland Revenue Mukhtiar Hussain Thaheem apprised the participants about e-filing of Income tax returns and highlighted importance for registration of National Tax Number (NTN).

He said that every individual should file their income tax returns by paying their liable taxes without any assistance through e-filing system after attending awareness training seminar .Training programme will strengthen the capabilities of taxpayers and it will also enhance collection of Income tax in upcoming months by enforcing provisions efficiently and effectively.

Teaching staff, non-teaching staff and administrative employees of NFC institute of engineering and technology staff attended the awareness training session of Regional Tax Office Multan.

Assistant Director Inland Revenue Mukhtiar Hussain Thaheem along with other Inspector Shakeel Rasool Bhatti, Supervisor IP Unit RTO Multan Muhammad Shakeel and UDC Muhammad Junaid Ur Rehman officers from Regional Tax Office Multan participated in the awareness programme held in the NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology Multan.
