Multan Customs seeks applications from employees for out-stations posting

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Preventive has asked customs employees to submit transfer application from out-stations subject to genuine reason within three days.

The Federal Board of Revenue has transferred 1650 officials from BS-1 to BS-16 including inspectors, superintendents and others to out-stations during massive reshuffling.

As many as 65 inspectors from Customs Collectorate were transferred to Lahore and Faisalabad during the said reshuffling. These employees are facing various issues after their transfer from Multan to other station and many employees have requested Federal Board of Revenue to transfer them in their home station due to genuine reasons.

Deputy Collector Customs Preventive Headquarters Maqbool Ahmed Baloch sought out applications from the employees who want their transfer back to home station due to genuine reasons.

Employees of Customs Collectorate Preventive have been asked to submit transfer application with in three working days. Employees who were transferred to various outstations during the economic year 2019-20 allowed will be eligible to apply for transfer on genuine reasons.

The recommendation and justification of such officials working under jurisdiction of Multan Customs Preventive must reach within three days of the receipt of letter for onward submission of the Chief Collector (Enforcement) Centre Lahore.

Transfer application with genuine grievances of officials will be decided after examining and consultation with concerned chief collector.
