Multan I&I cancels auction of vehicles & goods due to lock down

MULTAN: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) cancelled auction of confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods due to lock down.

According to details, Customs Intelligence and Investigation announced auction of confiscated vehicles and goods to generate handsome revenue. Customs Intelligence and Investigation Range office has issued approved list of confiscated vehicles and goods.

Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation Dr. Adnan Akram has cancelled the auction of vehicles and various goods due to ongoing lock down in Punjab to contain Corona Virus (COVID-19).

District government has also announced article 144 on the direction of Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar throughout the province.

It is also pertinent to mention here that Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan  was offering 22  vehicles including  Toyota Crown, Toyota Rush jeep ,Toyota Fielder, Toyota Premio, Toyota Prius, Toyota Aqua , Toyota Passo, Honda Civic , Toyota Mark X ,Toyota Corolla Altis, Toyota Hilux Surf and other vehicles of different models in auction.

Customs Intelligence and Investigation offered 16 goods in the auction which includes tyres, bed sheets rolls, iron & steel scrap, old and used HTV Rims, 14 tons of magnesium powder, ground nuts in shell, calcium gypsum stones, chemicals, submersible pumps, used BOPP films, bourage brand polyethylene, plastic paper scrap and others.

The Customs Intelligence and Investigation presenting all those vehicles and various goods which were ripped up and their seizure cases were properly concluded after the trial in Customs adjudication.

Sources told Customs Today that Directorate of Customs Intelligence will announce fresh auction date when things get normal very soon.
