Collector Irfan-ur-Rehman congratulates Customs JIAP for surpassing assigned target of customs duty

KARACHI: Under the supervision of Collector Irfanur Rehman Khan, Collectorate of Customs Jinnah International Airport (JIAP), Karachi collected Rs2658.02 million as customs duty during the month of June, 2020 against the assigned target of Rs1693.02 million thereby exceeding the target by Rs965 million which is 57 percent higher than the target.

The Collectorate of JIAP collcted Rs21175.31 million of customs duty during the financial year 2019-20 as compared to given target of Rs20488.69 million i.e. increase of 23.16 percent as compared to the last financial year. A total amount of duty and taxes amounting to Rs51.4 billion was collected during financial year 2018-19.
