Multan I&I generates Rs21.32m through auction of impounded vehicles & goods

MULTAN: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Range Office generated Rs21.32 million from the auction of confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods.

According to details, Customs Intelligence and Investigation organized public auction of confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods for generation of handsome revenue. The auction was held at Customs Intelligence and Investigation near Raja pur Khanewal Road.

Customs Intelligence and Investigation offered 21 non-duty paid vehicles including Toyota Mark X, Honda Civic, Honda Insight Hybrid car, Toyota Rush ,Toyota Suzuki Jimny jeep, Toyota Mark X ,Toyota Assista, Toyota Land Cruisers, Toyota Aqua, Corolla Altis, Toyota Rush jeep, Toyota Hilux Pickup, Suzuki Swift, Toyota Hilux Surf, Dumper truck, Toyota Vitz of different models and others.

Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) successfully sold 18 vehicles in Rs20.56 million during auction and three vehicles were rejected due to fewer price offered than its reserved value.

Customs I&I also sold out two lots of tyres in Rs0.76 million during auction and other lots of auto spare parts, Used BOPP films, plastic paper scrap, alloy rims, and Bed sheets Rolls, magnesium powder, calcium gypsum stones and diesel generators.

Assistant Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation Javaid Raza supervised the whole auction process along with other staff.
