Multan Customs cancels monthly auction of vehicles & goods

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement & Compliance (E& C) cancelled monthly auction of confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods at last moment.

According to details, Customs E&C announced to conduct auction of confiscated vehicles and goods on August 27. Multan Customs cancelled auction after facing various issues. All arrangement of auction was almost finalized but Customs Collectorate decided to postpone the monthly auction.

Multan Customs Collectorate has given advertisement about auction in the newspaper and displayed banners outside the office for awareness of auction.

As many as several vehicles were offered for public auction including Toyota Hilux Surf, Toyota Corolla X, Mercedes Benz, Suzuki Swift, Toyota Vitz ,Toyota Corolla “G, Toyota Fielder and others .

Multan Customs cancelled the auction of vehicles and miscellaneous goods after heavy thunderstorm various parts of South Punjab. Auctioneer Muhammad Akram also refused to reach at auction place due to rain and few routes of Punjab were also overflowed due to rain.

Multan Customs cancelled the auction with a purpose that large number of people can participate in the public sale for generation of handsome revenue.
