NAB Karachi disburses Rs13.5b among affectees of Fazaia Management within two months

KARACHI: Under the supervision of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Director-General Najaf Mirza, Director Hafeez Siddiqui distributed Rs13.5 billion among affectees of Fazaia Housing Society during last two months.
NAB Karachi Director-General Najaf Mirza worked tirelessly day and night for recovery of looted amount from the management of Fazaia Housing Society.
Director Hafeez Siddiqui also devised comprehensive strategy for smooth refund of looted money to affectees of Fazaia Housing Society.
Due to this strategy, NAB successfully distributed Rs13.5 billion to 4000 affectees of Fazaia Management within two months
One Chinese affectee told media that when she approached NAB for recovery of her hard earned money. NAB team extended full support to her and assured her that her looted amount will be returned soon. She said that the way NAB team handled her case is really commendable.
It is necessary to mention here that on November 29, 2020 National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has asked the affected persons of Fazaia Housing Scheme, Karachi, to file their claims with the Karachi office at the earliest.
According to an announcement of NAB, Karachi, the applications of claims could be submitted during office hours to Investigation Wing I1, old Balochistan House, near Ziauddin Hospital, Clifton Block-2, Karachi, during office hours, further details could be collected from relevant NAB office on phone 021-99251933.
The applications addressing Director General, NAB, Karachi, should have supporting documents including a copy of Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC), original booking, allotment, receipt of payments made to society. Every affected person is required to submit his/her claim in person or through authorized representative from Monday to Friday during office hours.
The affected people who have already submitted their original files to NAB till 20/11/2020 but have not yet received their refund amount are requested to visit the NAB office for collectinga pay orders of their claims.
