Appraisement East collects Rs92.06b during 1H of FY21

KARACHI: Collectorate of Customs Appraisement East has collected revenue of Rs92.06 billion in the first half of current fiscal year against the target of Rs69.17 billion surpassing the assigned target by 33.1 percent.

It is necessary to mention herethat Collector Eng Riaz Memon and Additional Collectors Yasin Murtaza, Afzal Wattoo adopted comprehensive strategy against smuggling.

Due to this strategy and hectic efforts of above mentioned officials Customs Appraisement East was able to surpass revenue collection target.

Collectorate of Appraisement East collected Rs19.027 million surpassing the target by 51.3 percent. This is for the first time in last three years that MCC Appraisement East has been able to achieve and even surpass the target.
