Pakistan Customs taking all measures to promote trade activities in Gwadar: Chief Collector Gul Rehman

GWADAR: Chief Collector Gul Rehman has said that Pakistan Customs is taking all measures to promote and facilitate trade activities and business in Gwadar.

Chief Collector Quetta Gul Rehman expressed these views during his 3-day visit to Gwadar. He said despite of COVID-19 and lockdown, Customs staff achieved its revenue collection target and would surpass annual target.

Gul Rehman said Customs Gwadar was also playing an active role against smuggling. Despite shortage of resources, Customs made significant progress against smuggling and seized smuggled goods worth billions of rupees. Gul Rehman appreciated the work of Collector Gwadar Tahir Qureshi.

Later, Chief Collector planted a plant in Giwani Custom Station. Additional Collector Shoib Qazi, Deputy collector Wahaj Sagheer and Superintendent Asif Zaman were also present on the occasion.

During his tour, Gul Rehman visited installations at Gwadar Port, Gwadar Custom House, Giwani Custom Station and the adjacent area B-250.
