Traders tax & other issues to be resolved on priority basis

LAHORE: PIAF delegation led by PIAF Chairman Mian Noman Kabir for feedback on traders’ problems and determination to solve them. Road and Urdu Bazaar and adjoining markets. Khamis Saeed Butt, Bao Mohammad Bashir, Mohammad Ajmal, Malik Ahad Amin, Zeeshan Sohail Malik, Hassan Raza Sheikh from Ganpat Road and hundreds of traders from the market and President of Anjuman-e-Tajiran Pakistan Khalid Pervez, Aurangzeb Khan, Mohammad Jameel, Azam Butt He warmly welcomed the PIAF  leadership along with all the officials of his organization.

During the visit, traders were visited from Gunpat Road to Urdu Bazaar and reiterated their commitment to solve their problems. Along with Noman Kabir, Masood Nizami, Talha Tayyab Butt, Malik Nadeem, Malik Khalid Gujjar, Ali Afzal, Zeeshan Sohail Malik Secretary Piaf Abdul Lasbur and other market leaders were present. On this occasion, Chairman PIAF Mian Noman Kabir said that the purpose of visiting the markets is to get feedback from the traders and solve their problems.

Earlier, the markets used to come only for chamber elections but now they have come to solve the problems. Suggestions from trade and business organizations should be included in the budget to curb rising inflation.

Chairman PIAF Mian Noman Kabir said that the business community has always taken care of the national economy. Whenever there is any pressure on the national economy, the traders have gone ahead and faced the crisis.

Therefore, the problems of the traders including tax and customs duty should be resolved on priority basis. He said this while addressing a reception given by traders of Gunpat Road and Urdu Bazaar and more than five adjoining markets. It was attended by a large number of people from the markets and the business community belonging to the Lahore Chamber.
