Chief Collector Surriya Butt appreciates services rendered by KCAA during Covid-19 pandemic

KARACHI: Chief Collector Surriya Ahmad Butt lauded services renders by managing committee of Karachi Customs Agents Association (KCAA) during Covid-19 pandemic

In her letter addressed to President Karachi Customs Agents Association (KCAA) Yahya Mohammad she said that the services provided by managing committee 2019-2020 of KCAA during the COVID 19 Pandemic.  I whole heartedly thank my team members for their sincere effort for the betterment of the Customs Agents Community.

I specially thank my General Secretary & Joint Secretary who unconditionally supported me throughout the tenure. I salute all of my team members for their contribution.

It is necessary to mention here that Chief Collector Surriya Ahmad Butt is also chairman of a joint committee comprising of Customs Officials including two representatives of Karachi Customs Agents Association in order to address issues being faced by the traders. It was also decided that once a month meeting of the said joint committees will be arranged by the Collectorate.

She assured her full support to address to avoid unnecessary blocking of customs agent’s license until and unless the customs agents proved guilty after final decision by the concerned authorities.
