DC Kasur efforts for collecting record FBR taxes from 21pc to 72pc lauded

LAHORE: Commissioner Lahore Division, Captain (r) Muhammad Usman has appreciated Aasia Gul, DC Kasur, efforts to achieve the revenue recovery targets for the year 2020.2021.

He said progress of recovery of FBR taxes from 21 percent last year to 72 percent current year, was the result of her and her team efforts.

Commissioner Lahore Division, today paid a surprise visit of District Kasur and reviewed the performance of the district in the areas of price control checking, Covid Vaccination program, anti dengue, Anti Polio and revenue recovery targets.He visited Covid Vaccination center of Kasur in DPS and directed to allocate separate counters for ladies and to establish ramps for disabled persons. He also directed to make more Vaccination centers for industries under sectoral approach to vaccinate the citizens as per daily target of District Kasur.

He said that daily price checking randomnly was mandatory for every price control magistrate. He instructed DC Kasur and to pay surprise visits for price checking and that would produce the results. He said to district administration to give top priority to the complaints of citizens on Qeemat App and its resolution within time period. He said to proceed action against the price magistrates who would ignore the complaints of citizens.

He directed to make arrests of  those who were not paying FBR taxes.

He said that awareness level about dangue, polio vaccination, khidmat Aap Ki Dehleez and Qeemat App must be raised to get feedback and cooperation of common citizens.

He chaired meetings at DC Kasur Committee Room and also visited Covid Center, Land Record Center Mustafa Abaad and also planted a sapling in Kosar Garden in Kasur.

DC Kasur Aasia Gul, ADC Kasur, ADC Kasur, AC protocol Hafiz Qaisar Abbas and staff officer Ameer Ali and others accompanied him during his visits of different areas of Kasur.
